School Wide Events Committee Meeting

Breakfast? Sunshine will host the Christmas breakfast so SWEC will not have a December breakfast
This is all “up in the air” until UA meets
Holiday celebrations
We don’t want to focus on a particular holiday that may exclude students
2nd grade may present a holiday celebration/performance
Karen L will work on developing a readers’ theater to share the commonalities between the varying holiday celebrations
Including some class songs/performances?
*Choral response song? First grade sing the line, kindergarten repeats
Karen L will be doing a gingerbread theme in December and a snowman theme in January with School-to-Home project connections
Assembly scheduled for Friday, December 23rd 2:15pm

Welcome Winter Day!
Dress like a snowflake in blue, white, and sparkles!
Warm Up Day!
Wear cozy, comfy clothes and be ready for an invigorating winter warm up led by Mr. Marino at 9:05am
Wear Holiday Colors
